NCR Invoice Pads, Books and Forms

Custom NCR  Printing from Face Media Group

NCR pads are ideal for paperwork on the move where you need multiple copies of the same document, right there and then.  Use them for deliveries, recording site work carried out, field inspection records, receipt pads and invoice pads – all the times when you need to keep a record while also leaving a copy with someone else.  The sheets are printed with the desired format and can be sequentially numbered for reference.

We offer both NCR printing and design to suit your budget and requirements.

NCR Paper Explained

NCR Pads (also known as invoice pads) consist of repeating forms with at least two sheets. When you write on the top copy the image is carried through to the sheet(s) underneath leaving you with copies that can be removed and handed over and used elsewhere. They work with ball point pens or impact printers such as Dot Matrix or Daisy Wheels.

2 or 3 Part NCR Sets

Because they rely on adequate pressure being applied through the sheets, they do not work well with more than three sheets (which produces the original plus two copies) hence we only produce pads with 2 or 3 sheet sets. The sheets can be produced in loose sets, or a 170gm white card bottom layer can be included to form pads.

They are commonly in ncr printing for invoice books or pads, ensuring you and your customer have a copy of the receipt of purchase.

Sheet Colour and Printing Info

Carbon copy paper sheets are available in Blue, Pink, Green, Yellow and White.

(Please Note: NCR Sets do not work with Ink Jet or Laser Printers)

What does NCR stand for?

It is presumed that NCR means 'no carbon required' but it is in fact 'National Cash Register' which is the American company who brought the product to market originally in 1952, invented by chemists Lowell Schleicher and Barry Green, who worked for the NCR Corporation as a biodegradable, stain free  alternative to carbon paper (a blue sheet of heavy inked paper which would trace an image onto a clear sheet below when pressure is applied from above). Early product literature piggybacked on NCR's corporate name by calling the paper No Carbon Required paper, a bacronym of National Cash Register.
