Whats the difference between Digital cards, and Litho cards?
Digitally printed cards are the most economical for small batches. They are also perfect for larger companies, where there's a substantial turnround of staff, or new starters. With digital cards, you can kit out a new starter at a very reasonable price, helping to make them part of the team, without investing a substantial amount of money in their cards. The digital cards are perfect for simple card designs, lots of white space, a logo, some text (not grey*).
Our litho business cards would be more suited to cards carrying lots of colour, photo's etc - PHOTOGRAPHERS NOTE - choose our litho cards for best results. *GREY ISSUES - As grey is simply, dots of black - Talk to us about the effect this can have, before ordering.
Should I have single or double sided cards?
In some cases, a single sided business card may not be sufficient, when simultaneous promotion of your website and/or services is also necessary. A double sided business card provides the perfect solution.
What special finishing is available?
There are number of options available to add a touch of class to your business cards.There's uncoated stock, silk board or even matt laminate which gives the cards a soft rubberised feel and a protective layer.

Why choose matt lamination?
These business cards are our most popular type of card. They are digitally printed in full colour to the highest quality, on a 350gsm thick silk
board, with matt laminate applied to both sides.
Matt laminate is a thin plastic sheet which is welded to the surface of the card. it has several benefits:
- It protects the cards, from scratches and wear.
- It feels luxurious, rubbery, velvety
- It can really have an impact when handing the card to that potential client

Why go bespoke?
Maybe batch printing just isn't for you. You want that distinguished quality and uniqueness that only a bespoke job can give.
Or you may have some colour issues. Your brand might be very specific about its corporate identity and therefore it's brand colours / spot colours mean the only way to print the job is Bespoke (on its own).

What difference is there when ordering a bespoke business card?
A bespoke job will take longer than any of the cards above, simply because more care will be taken over the job. It deserves it's own space on the press and a high spec business card job may require extensive extra finishing procedures on your cards (Embossing, Foil Blocking, Thermogrphy etc). These processes take the job off our factory floor and along to a specialist, before coming back in for trimming, packing and despatch.
One important thing to note with bespoke business cards is they can be expensive. The setup time for each process of the job will often
mean its not economically viable to run the cards as a bespoke job - which is
why we will always push the batch print options above to you first.
