Beware of false representation out there. Some printers will tell you their eco recycled business cards are fully planet friendly, but the card they use may not be as green as they make out. In fact, some card that’s labelled “made from recycled paper” may in fact only have as little as 30% recycled material in it. To be truly green check whether your printer is using top grade 100% recycled card – like we are (just thought i’d mention it!). The other green credential to check for is whether the card is also from an FSC accredited source. That’s the Forest Stewardship Council, and they make sure that all the wood used to make the original paper is only sourced from sustainable forests. Add these two together and your business card will not only tell people who you are – it tells the world you care.
