Artwork that includes gradients and is being printed on the digital press may experience colour banding, especially when the gradient only consists of one colour.

There is less of a risk of banding occurring when more than one colour is present in the gradient; however, printing your artwork lithographically when any gradient is involved would ensure a superior reproduction of your artwork with colours truer to the original design.
